MKEfoodies Burger Night: Local Yokel Style

Get your Local Burger Fix at Stack'd Burger Bar on September 21st.  RSVP for this event.

The Milwaukee Eat Local Challenge wrapped up on September 14th, but let's keep the buzz going by supporting local establishments that espouse a commitment to sourcing their products locally.

Combining quality local produce and grass-fed beef, Stack'd is THE destination for gourmet burgers in Milwaukee. This locally-owned burger bar uses only Wisconsin raised and grown ingredients (where possible) from local brands and co-ops.

Stack’d will be providing tasting platters (family style) of their appetizers, as well as a complimentary tap of local craft beer. Plus, there will be $2 off Wisconsin craft beers, $1 off Wisconsin spirits which is part of their usual Local Yocal special every Wednesday. General Manager, Joe McPherson, will also be there to talk about their efforts to support local businesses as well to talk about their gluten free menu!

For 100 years, West Bend® has connected home chefs and matriarchs across generations. On September 27th, 2011, West Bend® will officially celebrate its 100th year of incorporation. They will hold a community-driven 100th anniversary celebration on Sunday, September 25th, featuring free activities for the public. And to kick off the festivities, they have generously donated a couple of their kitchen appliances for us to give away!

This event is FREE. However, as usual, we will be asking for a suggested $5 donation at the door, with all proceeds going to the Urban Ecology Center, an Eat Local Milwaukee partner.

Eat Local Milwaukee is a collaboration between the Urban Ecology Center, Outpost Natural Foods, MKEfoodies and other passionate volunteers who care about providing education and resources for local eating. MKEfoodies is a proud supporter of Eat Local Milwaukee and our local food economy.
