Mark Your Calendars for Milwaukee Cocktail Week 2014

Brace yourself for Milwaukee Cocktail Week, a weeklong celebration of the Cream City’s burgeoning cocktail culture. This year’s festival, which will will take place September 21-27, 2014, brings together bartenders, cocktail luminaries and industry enthusiasts for a series of experiential events that will highlight the talent and potential of our great city.  

Capstone events during cocktail week will include a Cocktail Week Kickoff on September 21, as well as Cocktail College on September 27. Additional events, which will be announced over the next month, will take place throughout the week at area bars and restaurants.


Sunday, September 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Tickets: $35 before August 15; $40 through the day of the event; $65 for Touchdown Pass*
Location: Horny Goat Hideaway, 2011 S. 1st St.
Experience creative “tailgate” fare produced by local chefs accompanied by well-executed cocktail pairings created by area bartenders. The Green Bay Packers will take on the Detroit Lions on the bigger-than-life television screen, and you’ll be there to cheer them on.
Saturday, September 27 from 1-4 p.m. (VIP Admission begins at 12/noon)
Tickets: $35 before August 15; $40 August 15-September 26; $45 at the door; $65 for Touchdown Pass*
Location: Iron Horse Hotel, 500 W. Florida St.
Come to taste and stay to learn at Cocktail College, where attendees will have the opportunity to taste dozens of spirits from a variety of distilleries, indulge in appetizers and participate in innovative spirits education classes and cocktail seminars. Detailed information will be announced in the next few weeks.
*Touchdown Pass tickets, which are $65, include admission to the Kickoff Tailgate, as well as VIP admission to Cocktail College. VIP attendees will receive early access to the Cocktail College tasting room as well as exclusive access to a special 30 minute cocktail seminar.
